About AA Therapy
I’m Anastasia Auld, a PACFA-registered counsellor and the founder of AA Therapy, offering relationship-focused counselling for individuals and couples in Melbourne and online.
I support individuals struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties, as well as couples who feel stuck in repeated conflict, emotional disconnection, or on the brink of separation. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, uncertain how things became so painful, and unsure what steps to take next.
I use evidence-based approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Transactional Analysis, integrating emotional depth with practical, real-world change. Therapy with me is structured, compassionate, and focused on helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.
How does it work?
My work focuses on understanding relationship patterns: how emotional experiences, stress, and past relationships shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. Whether you attend therapy individually or as a couple, we work to identify what keeps you stuck and develop healthier, more secure ways of responding.
If you’re feeling caught in the same arguments, questioning your relationship, or struggling with anxiety and self-doubt, therapy can provide a space to slow things down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin changing patterns that no longer serve you.
